Hello Families,

I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to thank all of our families that came out to our Keeneland Parking Fundraiser yesterday. That money will go a long way to providing your kids the best experience possible while on our team. I also wanted to apologize for the late practice cancellation this weekend. Transy told us the problem should now be fixed at this point, so we should be able to resume our normal schedule.

While we don't have a ton going on this week, I wanted to share a couple of things coming up on the horizon.

Next Practice (10/25/26)

Our next practice will be this Sunday, October 25th. Swim will practice from 5p-7p. Dive will practice from 6p-8p. For our student-athletes that participate in both swim and dive, we will split time to ensure they get to practice both.

Attendance Deadline Best Practices (All Season)

As we get rolling into our regular season, I wanted to share our Attendance Deadline Best Practices. Our sport is different in that attendance is not required at every meet/event we have. As such, we must collect attendance figures before many of our events.

• All of our events that have sign ups can be found HERE with a green Entry or RSVP button (depending on the type of event).
• If you know you cannot make an event, please mark that ASAP. Knowing who is not going to be in attendance is just as important as knowing who is going to be in attendance.
• If you know you can make an event, please mark that ASAP. We want to make sure your child is included, and this is the best way to ensure they are included.
• If the Attendance Deadline is approaching and you are still unsure of your status, it is better to declare as "attending" and backing out later, rather than the opposite.
• This is one of the many areas on our team where communication is vital. Please don't hesitate to reach out or leave a "Coach's Note" when you make an attendance declaration.
• Attendance Deadlines for each of our events vary (in terms of how far in advance we need to know), so be sure to get your responses in early. Our team's Google Calendar can be found HERE and has all of our practices, meets, events, and attendance deadlines. Feel free to subscribe to our team's calendar using the plus sign in the bottom right corner.

Meet @ GRC (11/4/26)

As mentioned, our first meet is 16 days away. This is a SWIM & DIVE meet. While I don't have official times yet, I imagine dive will go before swim. We will send out more concrete details once we have them.

• This is an away meet in Winchester on Wednesday, November 4th.
• Attendance Deadline is Sunday, November 1st at 5p (but please declare your attendance status before then if possible).
• CLICK HERE to declare your attendance status.

That is all I have this week. If you have any questions, please let me know. Looking forward to seeing our team at practice this Sunday!

Best,

Trent
