Hello Families,

I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to thank all of our kids who made it out to Versailles last night, as well as our parents who volunteered during the meet. Congratulations to our Girls Team for picking up the win last night. While our Boys and Combined Teams came up just a hair short, I was pleased with our entire team's effort. We had a very light crew last night, and I was proud of everyone for stepping up into a role they don't normally fill. I think last night was great from an experience standpoint, and we have a lot to work on as we get deeper into our season.

Congratulations to our Swimmer of the Meet, Emmie Brzinski. Emmie was one of the folks who stepped up in a new event last night (and she crushed it). In addition to that, we had an illness/injury from one of our relay swimmers last night. Emmie, who had already changed into street clothes, put her suit back on and was enthusiastic about swimming in that final relay. Not only was she there for the entire meet (even though she had the ability to leave early), but she was also excited for the opportunity. We expect that from all of our student-athletes. Great Job Emmie!
