Hello Families,

I hope everyone is doing well. We don't have anything for the next few weeks, but we do have a ton of things going on right after the holiday break that I wanted to share.

• Lafayette vs Montgomery County & Powell County (SENIOR NIGHT)
  • Wednesday, January 8th
  • College Park Pool; 15 Wheeler Avenue, Winchester, KY
  • We will honor ALL OF OUR SENIORS at the meet, so please try and attend.
  • As of now, this meet is Swim Only. There is a decent chance that both Swim & Dive will compete at the meet. I will update everyone when the format is finalized.
  • Schedule is TBD
  • We will need to provide volunteers for this meet. I will send out a link to sign up as a volunteer once we know what we need.
  • Attendance Deadline is Sunday, Janury 5th at 5p.

• Transy Dive Meet #2
  • Saturday, January 11th

  • This is a DIVE ONLY meet.
  • Schedule
    • Arrive- 1:15p
    • Warm Up- 1:30p
    • Meet- Immediately following warm up
  • Attendance Deadline is Wednesday, January 8th at 5p.

• Team Pasta Party
  • TENTATIVE DATE & LOCATION CHANGE
  • The plan is for this event to happen on January 12th at Transy. We will practice that day starting at 5p and will get out a early so we can have a team meal together. I will let you all know when we confirm this date and location.
  • This is for Student-Athletes only.
  • CLICK HERE to sign your child up before January 5th at 5p so we can be sure to order enough.
• KHSAA Region 8 Championships
  • Unlike our regular season meets, this meet has roster restrictions. Because of this, we will not be able to take everyone to this meet. Regardless, we need to know if your child will be available to compete if they were to be selected for our Region Team. It is an honor to be selected and we hope that 100% of our team will be available to be selected to the team.
  • Please CLICK HERE to mark your kid's availability for Region. The date listed on the sign up link says January 24th only. However, the swim meet is 2 days long (January 24-25). Also, divers will use this same link to sign up  even though the dive meet won't occur until the following week.
  • Swim will take place on January 24-25 in Barbourville.
  • Dive is TBD (most likely on January 27 or 28 in Louisville).
  • Absences from school are excused.
  • More info to come soon.
