Hello Families,

I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to come on here and share some highlights from the meet this weekend.

First, thank you to everyone for bringing your kids out to the meet. I know Saturday was a busy day with homecoming and everything going on.

As a team, our girls and our combined teams finished as runners-up. Our boys finished in 4th (only 15 points away from 2nd place). Moving forward (especially when it comes time for the postseason), we'd like to have as many of our athletes available as possible so we can avoid coming out on the short end of those close finishes. Overall, I was very pleased with our performance!

Highlights

• Girls 200 Medley Relay (Riley Shaw, Lauren Wedeking, Myla Phelps, Lydia Dever) won the event in a meet record time of 1:52.08.
• Lauren Wedeking won the Girls 200 Free in a meet record time of 1:53.73. She also won the Girls 500 Free.
• Isaac Barrow and Jimmy Rogers both broke our School Record in the Boys 100 Fly! The new record is now a 52.13 (1.5 seconds faster than the previous record).
• Isaac Barrow broke his own School Record en route to a victory in the Boys 100 Back (52.11).
• Girls 200 Freestyle Relay (Lauren Wedeking, Myla Phelps, Riley Shaw, Lydia Dever) - FAYETTE COUNTY CHAMPIONS
• Boys 200 Freestyle Relay (Isaac Barrow, Jimmy Rogers, Colton Brewer, Joseph Schmidt) - FAYETTE COUNTY CHAMPIONS
• Myla Phelps - FAYETTE COUNTY CHAMPION in the Girls 100 Free
• We had 5 Athletes make the All-Fayette County Team
