Concession Items for 2023 Whitaker Bank Fayette County Championships

Hello Families,

I hope everyone is doing well. We are quickly approaching the 2023 Whitaker Bank Fayette County Championships. As mentioned at the parent meeting prior to the start of the season, this event is a big undertaking but a great fundraiser for our team, so we will need all hands on deck to pull this off. Lafayette will also be hosting the Region 8 Championship Meet this year, so this will serve as great practice for us. As many of you know, we operate on a very strict budget. So in order to put this meet on and make it worthwhile and profitable to our team, we need your help. We set up a concession stand at the meet and rather than taking a large amount of booster club funds to purchase the items, we divide up the items amongst the many families on our team. This requires everyone to contribute a little rather than the our team suffering a huge cut. Please know that all the money we raise from this meet goes directly back to your kids in the form of team gear and fun team activities (no matter if your kids swim or dive, it goes to everyone). Splitting up the items went over very well last year and I suspect it will work out great this year as well. I do want to apologize for not getting this sent out earlier.

To sign up to purchase and bring items, please CLICK HERE. There are 51 lines items that need to be claimed. We have enough families for everyone to take one line item. Please note that some "line items" may have more than one product listed (example: 2 cases of water or 1 pack of gatorade + 1 bunch of bananas). In that case, please be sure to bring all items listed. Please only take one line item to start to allow everyone to claim a spot. If we run into the issue of not filling all the spots, we will email again and those who are willing to claim another line item can do so at that point and we would greatly appreciate it. Be sure to click save in the bottom left corner after you sign up.

Also using the SAME LINK, you will be able to sign up for volunteer positions for the swim portion of the meet. Since we are hosting, we will again need hands on deck to fill some of the miscellaneous jobs. Attached to this email, is a document including pictures of all the items we requesting. Please try to adhere as closely to this list as possible. These items will be sold at the concession stand, so it is important that all items are the same/similar so the prices are fair. All items will be due Sunday, December, 10 at practice.

Again, I apologize for not getting this sent out sooner. If your kid child will not be attending practice on 12/10, please reach out to Coach Morgan (859-893-2707) to arrange another time for drop off. I truly appreciate the continued support from our parents on this team. We cannot do what we do without you all. It is our goal to provide a meaningful and fun experience for your kids as a part of this team and you all play a huge role in allowing us to do so. If you have any questions, please let me know.
