Hello Families,

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoyed the holiday break. We have a busy month ahead, including several activites and deadlines this week. Here is a rundown of everything going on with our team this week.

Attendance Deadlines (multiple this week)

We have 3 attendance deadlines this week. They are due at 5p on each deadline day. Please try to get signed up for these meets, we are missing quite a few people. I will list each meet (and the date of the meet), who is competing (swim/dive/both), the deadline to signup, and the link to signup below. The meets will be ordered by deadline, with the earliest deadline being first.

2023 Whitake Bank Fayette County Championships (12/15-12/16)

Please be on the lookout this week for a VERY IMPORTANT email regarding our invitational next month. We are hosting Region this year and this meet will be a great way to prepare for that. This is a meet for both swimmers and divers. If you have not signed up yet, the deadline is tomorrow at 5p. We will need all hands on deck. CLICK HERE to sign up.

Proofs from Picture Day (available now)

The proofs from our picture day last Sunday are now available. CLICK HERE to view the gallery (the password is LHSswim23). If you have any questions about purchasing, please let us know. Also, please tell your kids to thank Mr. Peters for taking our team photos if they see him at school.

Banners Restaurant Night (11/29)

We have a restaurant night on Wednesday from 5p-8p at Banners (3650 Boston Road #196, Lexington, KY). You may order online, as well as dine-in, during the fundraiser and a portion of your meal will go towards our team. Please invite friends and family as well, it should be a good night.

Transy Dive Meet #1 (12/2)

We have another dive meet this Saturday at Transy. Divers will need to arrive at 10:45a for 11a warm up. The meet will start at 11:30a. The deadline to sign up for this meet is Wednesday, November 29th at 5p. CLICK HERE to sign up.

Normal Practice (12/3)

We will be back to normal practice time this week. I understand this is a big weekend for a lot of our club swimmers. We would love to have everyone at practice, but please do not feel obligated to come to practice if you need some extra rest (and definitely don't come to our practice if it would require you to scratch finals at your club meet).
