Hello Families,

With the new changes regarding the postseason format, I want to update you all every time I learn a new piece of information. Yesterday, the KHSAA voted and approved a couple of things that I'd like to share with you.

• Location: We have been grouped with Regions 7 & 9. Our Semi State will be contested at Scott High School in Northern Kentucky (5400 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY). I have been to their old pool, but they have opened a new pool within the last year. Based on pictures I have seen, I think there is a warm down area at the facility. 
• Format: There will now be 48 entrants per swim event advancing from Region to Semi State. Those 48 entrants in each swim event will go to whichever Semi State their team was assigned to (that would be Scott High School for us). I am unsure if Semi State will be prelim/final or just timed finals. However, I do know that there will be 24 advancing from the Semi State Round to the State Championship. I still have not heard about automatic qualifiers and how they will factor in to this format. There will be more info on this coming soon.
