Hello Families,

I hope everyone is doing well. We are 9 days away from our first meet and we have a lot of things coming up in the next 2 weeks, so I wanted to take a minute to review our calendar.

Required Practice for Club Swimmers (From Here on Out)

The dates of the Required Practices have not changed, but the times have. We orignally said we were going to have the required portion of swim practice be from 5p-6p. We are now changing the required portion of practice for our Club Swimmers to 6p-7p (except for Picture Day on 11/19, please see info about that below). Club Swimmers are still always welcome to join us for any practice (required or not) and are always welcome to come for the entire practice if they would like to. This change has been updated on all applicable practices on our team Google Calendar.

Meet Attendance Deadline for Meet on November 15th (11/10)

The deadline to sign your child up for our meet on 11/15 in Georgetown is this Friday, November 10th at 5p. This meet is for both Swimmers and Divers. We are still have 26 people who have not marked their attendance yet. Even if you are not going, please mark that on the website so we know. CLICK HERE to mark your attendance for our meet on 11/15. If your child's attendance isn't marked yet, you will be receiving an email shortly.

Chipotle Restaurant Night (11/12)

We have another restaurant this Sunday at Chipotle. In the past, it has been at the Fayette Mall Location. This time it will be at the Nicholasville Road location across from Kroger (2270 Nicholasville Road). The fundraiser will go from 5p-9p. Be sure to mention Lafayette Swim & Dive at checkout or show the attached flier. Online orders are accepted, use our unique code on the flier to have your order count towards our team total.

Attendance Deadline for Meet on November 18th (11/14)

The deadline to sign your child up for our meet on 11/18 at Transy is a week from tomorrow, November 14th at 5p. We are still have 42 people who have not marked their attendance yet. Even if you are not going, please mark that on the website so we know. CLICK HERE to mark your attendance for our meet on 11/18. If your child's attendance isn't marked yet, you will be receiving an email shortly.

Meet @ Scott County/Great Crossing, vs LCA (11/15)

This is our first meet of the year. This meet is for both Swimmers and Divers. It will take place at The Pavilion in Georgetown (140 Pavilion Drive, Gerogetown, KY). I will send an email out with more info as soon as I hear from the host team.

Meet vs Henry Clay/Sayre (11/18)

This meet is for both Swimmers and Divers. It will take place at Transy. For swim, warm up is at 9am and the meet will go from 9:30a-11a. For dive, warm up is scheduled for 1:30p and the meet will begin at 2p. Please arrive at least 15 minutes earlier than the warm up time.

Required Practice: Picture Day (11/19)

We will have a required practice on November 19th for our team picture day. Please wear our Team T-Shirt (we will have those passed out by then), Jeans, and Closed Toed Shoes. We will need all Swimmers and Divers at the pool starting at 5p. We won't go any later than 7p, and may even be done a bit sooner.
