In an effort to keep communication clear and constant, I will attempt to send a weekly update of our team's events/schedule. The email will cover Monday-Sunday and will normally be sent out early in the week (Monday or Tuesday). Please keep an eye out for these emails, as there will be important information passed through them. 

To get us started, I want to thank the student-athletes who came to our first practice last week. I know there were a lot of club meets, school activities, and other commitments, but we still had a great turnout for it not being a required practice.

Speaking of required practices, our first required practice will be this Sunday, October 23rd from 4p-6p. This is a Swim and Dive practice, so we should see all of our student-athletes on Sunday. We are aware there are club meets this weekend, please focus on those. If your child has a club meet or another extenuating circumstance and cannot be at practice, please have your child reach out via text or email to let me know. 

Also, happening this Sunday is our Noodles and Company Restaurant Night Fundraiser. Attached to this email is a flier that you can show at checkout. Please share the flier and details of the event with all your friends and family. Our hope is to have a great turnout at our practice, and then head to Noodles and Company afterwards for an impromptu team dinner (although the fundraiser will be going from 11a-9p and going at any time is fine). 

One more housekeeping item for this week. If you have not registered your account for SwimTopia, please do so ASAP. Every parent who has registered their kid(s) for our team and provided a valid email has been added to the SwimTopia system. It is your responsibility to activate your account and instructions on how to do so have been sent. There is still a significant number of parents who have not activated their account yet. This is how we will communicate in the future and this is how you tell us your child will be attending meets/events. Please get signed up ASAP.
